Qld: Leaders put their feet up for first week of campaign

Former One Nation golden girl HEATHER HILL is likely to be confirmed tomorrow as an
independent candidate for the February 5 Bundamba by-election.

Ms HILL was last month sacked as adviser by the man who took her Senate spot.

Her dismissal was a direct result of her involvement in the breakaway One Nation party,
City-Country Alliance.

As a One Nation candidate in the 1998 federal election, Ms HILL was elected to the
Senate but later found to be ineligible for failing to renounce her British citizenship.
