Qld: Couple charged with baby's death
BRISBANE, Dec 8 AAP - A man and woman have been charged with manslaughter following
the death of a two-month-old baby boy in Townsville.
A 26-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man, both of Oak Valley, have been charged with
one count each of manslaughter following the death of the baby, police said.
The infant was taken to Townsville General Hospital and died shortly after arriving
on December 1.
Police have not confirmed how the baby died or the relationship of the man and woman to the baby.
The pair will appear in the Townsville Magistrates Court today.
